About You:
You are highly organised, confident in prioritising tasks to ensure health and wellbeing are top priorities, and demonstrate strong problem-solving skills. You lead your team to ensure operational processes, stock management, and high standards of visual merchandising are delivered on time and to company standards, exceeding customer expectations. You will interpret sales reports and provide guidance on improving sales and customer engagement, ensuring the smooth running of day-to-day store operations.
Responsibilities:
1. Create effective schedules prioritising customer needs.
2. Organise, oversee, and motivate the store team to increase sales performance through exceptional customer service at checkout, service desk, and engagement points.
3. Manage payroll, holiday planning, and colleague training.
4. Drive compliance with company policies and protocols across the operations team.
5. Ensure a comprehensive understanding of safe working practices within operations.
6. Lead by example in implementing safe working practices and investigate breaches or near misses.
7. Manage daily team operations and resolve people issues as they arise.
8. Promote a strong team ethos that supports individuals, fosters cohesion, and instills pride in being part of the Mole Valley team.
9. Demonstrate and promote excellent product knowledge across the team.
10. Organise staff levels efficiently to meet business needs.
11. Prioritise tasks to ensure timely completion of processes such as banking and reporting.
12. Maintain protocol compliance in areas like gap checks, pick lists, price integrity, order management, and credit claims to ensure safety, legality, and excellent customer service.
13. Ensure stock file integrity to maximise product availability.
14. Report, action, and rectify health & safety issues.
15. Become an expert in our products and overall business to effectively address customer queries and support decision-making by knowing the right contacts within the company.
