Job Description

The Opportunity

Ready to kick‑start a career that lets you shape the world around you? As a Graduate Apprentice in Civil Engineering, you won’t just be sitting at a desk — you’ll be out on real sites, solving real problems, and helping to keep the roads, bridges, and communities of Angus safe and moving.

This is your chance to earn a wage, gain hands‑on experience, and work towards a fully funded engineering degree at the same time. You don’t need to have all the answers yet — what matters most is your curiosity, motivation, and excitement to learn how big infrastructure works. One day you could be helping inspect a bridge, the next you’re supporting drainage solutions or contributing to major improvement projects that thousands of people rely on.

You’ll be part of a friendly, supportive team of engineers who’ll show you the ropes, help you build confidence, and guide you as you take on more responsibility. You’ll also join site visits across Angus — meaning you’ll need a valid driving licence to travel between locations.

If you’re someone who loves solving problems, enjoys being outdoors as much as indoors, and wants a career with purpose, this apprenticeship is a brilliant place to begin. Bring your ideas, bring your ambition — we’ll help you turn both into a future you can be proud of.

Take a look at the opportunity in more detail below in the job outline and person specification attachments
