Purpose of the Role The Scheduling and Planning Manager plays a critical role in ensuring project activities are completed on time and within budget. Overseeing the Field Administration Team, they optimize manpower utilization in Field Operations, ensuring engineering visits align with Client SLA requirements. By streamlining scheduling and resource allocation, this role enhances communication and operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities Planning & Scheduling – Develop, maintain, and review detailed schedules to align with project goals. Strategic Planning & Resource planning – develop the full-year plan and the resource requirements to deliver the full year engineering requirements of all Switch2 customers Resource Allocation – Collaborate with departments to ensure engineers have the necessary tools and parts. Risk Management – Identify risks and implement proactive mitigation strategies. Stakeholder Communication – Act as the main point of contact, keeping all stakeholders informed. Team Leadership – Lead, motivate, and develop the Field Administration Team to drive operational success. Progress Tracking – Monitor ongoing work streams, adjusting plans based on performance. Problem-Solving & Quality Assurance – Address challenges effectively while ensuring deliverables meet quality standards. Performance & KPI Management – Oversee reporting metrics and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Regulatory Compliance – Maintain adherence to industry regulations and standards.
