Job Title: BMS Commissioning Engineer\n 📍 Location: Manchester Airport\n 📅 Contract Length: 6 Months\n 💼 IR35 Status: Outside IR35\n 💰 Competitive Day Rate\n\nWe're looking for an experienced BMS Commissioning Engineer to join a major project at Manchester Airport.\n\nThis is a great opportunity for a skilled engineer to get involved in a long-term contract delivering high-profile infrastructure work. The role will be focused on commissioning rather than software development, so a background in hands-on testing and commissioning of BMS systems is key.\n\n🔧 Role Responsibilities:\n\nCommissioning BMS systems on a large-scale infrastructure site\n\nRunning functional tests, I/O checks, and point-to-point testing\n\nFault-finding and resolution on live systems\n\nLiaising with software engineers and site teams to ensure systems are delivered to specification\n\nProviding commissioning support and documentation for project handover\n\n✅ Requirements:\n\nProven experience as a BMS Commissioning Engineer\n\nComfortable working with a variety of BMS systems; experience with Delta Controls is advantageous but not essential\n\nStrong understanding of HVAC and building services controls\n\nAble to interpret technical drawings and commissioning documents\n\nECS/CSCS card (or equivalent) preferred\n\nMust be eligible to work in the UK\n\n📄 Contract Details:\n\nDuration: 6 months, with potential for extension\n\nIR35 Status: Outside IR35\n\nLocation: Manchester Airport - site-based\n\nHours: Full-time, with occasional weekend availability depending on project needs\n\n🧰 What's in it for you?\n\nLong-term project stability\n\nWork on a prestigious UK infrastructure site\n\nOpportunity to build experience on Delta systems if not already familiar\n\nDay rate structure outside of IR35
