Role Description
We are looking for a confident and experienced B2B customer relationship manager to come on board and establish exceptional partner relations with vendors on the platform. From the very first moments our partners arrive on the platform, helping them through onboarding, ongoing coaching, solving problems and supporting them to reach their goals.
Your role will be to provide reliable, trusted and valuable support. Your goal will be to build exceptional partner relationships and drive partner retention on the platform whilst hearing their needs and making sure they are captured so that we can continually evolve the platform and services to become best in class. Our partners are what will drive the success of our platform. In understanding this and placing them at the heart of our business we seek to differentiate ourselves from others in the space. Qualifications
* Be the primary contact for Partners on the platform. Ensure no partner assigned to you ever gets forgotten or pushed from pillar to post, that engaging with the company for whatever reason is seen as a positive experience and one that is resolved in a way that promotes high advocacy for the brand
* Help our Partners thrive within the marketplace, seeking to share insights and approaches that they might try to continually evolve their ranges and products to sell more effectively through our platform
* Continually capture and champion Partner needs internally, feeding into product roadmaps and service approaches as the evolve
* Be the first point of call and absolute owner to resolve any issues a partner may have either in terms of technical requirements, operational or marketing needs. You will own their needs start to end making sure resolution is found and issues are never left to lie unanswered or half resolved.
* Be a point of guardianship for our brand ensuring the right quality of partners are admitted to the platform that will uphold our values and help maintain strict levels of quality and aspiration we seek to promote for those trading on our platform.
* Be the account manager for each relationship ensuring partner adherence to agreed standards and compliance with T&Cs and policies that are required by the platform and by law.
* Develop a true empathy and understanding of the partner businesses on the platform seeking always to become expert in their world and the problems they face so that you become a trusted and valued advisor rather than just a platform rep.
What we are looking for
We are looking for a natural 'people' person who prides themself on their communication skills and their empathy towards others. You will have proven relationship management experience in a B2B setting with minimum 5 years experience working in a similar fast paced environment.
As part of a start up we are looking for you to be prepared to roll up your sleeves and bring ideas, approaches and thinking to the table as well as just being able to work with a fully defined brief. A can do attitude and a desire to learn and evolve is key. We may also from time to time ask for your help on other subjects as we all work together as a team to bring the vision to life.
