Pension Operations Specialist - Nutmeg / JP Morgan - London - 6 months contract - Hybrid - PAYE
We are seeking a Pension Operations Specialist to join Nutmeg, JP Morgan's newly acquired Digital Wealth Manager, in London on an initial 6 months contract with the possibility to go permanent in the future. The successful candidate must have a good understanding of UK pension regulations and customer journeys to be considered for the role.
The role
As a Pension Operations Specialist, you will be part of the Pension Operations Team who are responsible for managing a variety of Pension Operations functions such as Transfers, Drawdown and Pension Contributions. You will be responsible for understanding and processing the end to end transfer journey for customers in addition to ensuring an excellence experience for the customers submitting transfers. You'll also be expected to make significant contributions towards changing and improving processes whilst taking initiative to drive forward your own career and development.
Job responsibilities:
* Ooversees a variety of Pension Operations functions such as Transfers, Drawdown and Pension Contributions
* Understands and processes the end to end transfer journey for customers in addition to ensuring an excellence experience for the customers submitting transfers
* Makes significant contributions towards changing and improving processes whilst taking initiative to drive forward your own career and development.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
* Strong technical knowledge and understanding of UK Pensions market.
* Provides technical pensions support to Pension Operations.
* Strong knowledge of HMRC rules on pensions benefits.
* A good understanding of third party supplier management oversight
* Financial Services Operations Management experience is essential
* Familiar with using CRM systems such as Salesforce
* Excellent organisational skills, able to manage and prioritise own workload across multiple workstreams
* You'll be passionate about delivering a seamless end to end customer experience, creating multiple contact points along the way and ensuring that client queries and requests are managed in line with quality and service standards.
* Ability to engage in debate on customer experience and a genuine desire to help customers
Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills:
* Good Microsoft office skills, specifically Excel
*Please note this role will be working on a hybrid model of 3 days minimum office based and up to 2 days work from home.*
