Job Title: CNC Operator
Location: Mansfield, Nottinghamshire
Salary: £32,800 plus outstanding benefits once permanent including monthly production bonus
Shift: double day shift due to location and working hours – own transport essential
Temp to perm role
Field Responsibilities
- Effective operation of all CNC machines in the machine shop.
- Providing support in ancillary areas when required.
- Liaising with cell technicians & skilled CNC machinist.
- Inspecting and co‑ordinating with the inspection cell as required.
- Carrying out routine housekeeping duties.
- Ensuring work order routines are filled out correctly at every stage.
Personal Attributes
- Excellent communication skills.
- Proactive with excellent attention to detail.
- Experience working within a machine shop/engineering environment.
- Ability to complete work in a timely manner.
- Previous engineering experience – ideally with CNC knowledge.
Qualifications
This role ideally suits a college or school leaver with an interest in engineering. Btec or A Levels in technical subjects preferred.
