The opportunity
We are seeking an individual to join our team of experienced Underwriters who is passionate about our customers. You will drive every decision and action with the goal of providing innovative and creative propositions that cater to our customer's needs. As a Property and Casualty Underwriter, you’ll analyze and underwrite new business. This means you’ll be in a market-facing role, so it’s important that you are great at communicating and building meaningful relationships with our distribution partners.
We’ll support and train you in all the technical aspects of the role and will make sure that you feel part of the team from day one.

Key responsibilities

6. Interact with brokers and intermediaries daily.

Your skills and experience
* Willingness to learn, develop, and be part of a team.
* Underwriting experience (especially with Property and Casualty) is a plus, but not required; we consider transferable skills and a strong willingness to learn.
* Passion and desire to succeed.
* Ability to make decisions using data and judgment.
* Attention to detail and ability to challenge processes and decisions.
* Adaptability to different workloads and pressures.
* Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
