As Mitigo continues to grow, we are looking to recruit an IT Engineer to assist the technical team with supporting the business. This is a key role in the growth of Mitigo, and the right candidate will take on primary responsibility for a number of important activities, reporting directly to the senior technical leadership team.
Position Overview
The successful candidate for this role will take on responsibility for a wide ranging number of business critical activities, including:
* Building & configuring laptops and phones for new starters.
* Act as the first point of contact for IT-related queries via phone, email, in-person.
* Diagnose and resolve basic hardware, software, and user issues.
* On-going configuration and management of our key cloud SaaS platforms.
* Managing the AV/EDR deployment and monitoring for incidents.
* Support the technical team with client services where appropriate.
* Maintaining IT asset registers.
Requirements & Skills
We are ideally looking for IT professionals with at least 1-2 years of experience in a modern IT support setting. Mitigo has adopted a cloud-first approach to technology, meaning that requirements for managing traditional on-premises setup is largely restricted to user hardware and basic networking.
Experience in the management of the following platforms and technologies is crucial to a successful candidate:
* Windows Operating System
* Microsoft Entra (Office 365, Intune, Defender, SharePoint)
* ESET & Sentinel One EDR
* VoIP SaaS
In addition to the above, we are very keen to speak to anyone with either experience in the following or a desire to expand their skillset into the following areas:
* Salesforce administration or development
* Software development (Python, Go)
