International Logistics Coordinator (Maternity Cover 9-12 Month Temporary Contract) About Us Dale Farm is the largest UK farmer-owned cooperative, owned by 1,300 UK farmers. We supply a wide range of dairy products, including cheese, butter, dairy spreads, fresh milk and ice cream to consumers and as food ingredients into the UK, Irish and international markets. Core to our success is our people, and we now have an exciting opportunity within our logistics team, based at our Head Office in Belfast. This role has a hybrid working arrangement. About the Role As the International Logistics Coordinator, you will be part of the logistics team which supports our international commercial function and is responsible for the shipping of our products worldwide. You will also be responsible for the group wide administration of GB imports through TSS and associated document checks. Within this role you will be maintaining contact with all customers and suppliers to develop an in-depth understanding of objectives, strategies and operational requirements. Planning chilled freight within the UK, EU and worldwide. Preparing and liaising with external authorities on export documentation. Responsibility for maintaining our customer relationships as you will be the point of contact for customer orders across our range of ingredients. Working cross-functionally across the Group to ensure we exceed customer requirements and meet budget and forecast deadlines. Assisting with the movement of goods from GB to NI and associated customs procedures. Providing support to our commercial function. This role is on a full-time, temporary basis, to provide Maternity cover, and is expected to be for a period of 9-12 months. About You The Essential The successful candidate will have a minimum of 3 years experience within a logistics and/or customs environment. This opportunity calls for a dynamic professional with a strong work ethic who will have first rate communication skills and has the ability the work as a member of a busy team in a fast-paced commercial environment. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of Incoterms and TSS and be a hands-on, results-oriented individual and will be able to demonstrate their creativity, skills, energy, and ability to multitask effectively.
