Cherubs Mapperley is a “home from home” modern 73-place nursery, situated in the heart of Mapperley, Nottingham. It is well-placed with good bus and road links with lots of local amenities within walking distance, including coffee shops, pharmacies, dentist and shops.

* As an Apprentice you can apply for an ISIC — International Student Identity Card. The card allows discounts at many high‑street and online retailers. A small fee of £12 is charged for a one‑year card.
Responsibilities
* Work as part of the Childcare Team to provide an amazing service, for both our children and families.
* Ensure the children’s environment and your nursery is kept safe, secure and clean at all times.
* Be a role model for the children at all times.
* Work towards your qualification in childcare, ensuring all targets are met and you are always up to date with any assigned coursework.
* Assist in the thorough planning and successful delivery of a variety of activities (both indoor and outdoor) to maintain the children’s interests and to ensure the development of all children in‑line with their own needs.
* Establish and maintain friendly but professional relationships with all parents, staff and suppliers.
* Attend all staff events including parents evening, staff meetings, summer fairs and training – some of these may be outside working hours and on weekends.
