About the role.
We’re recruiting for a Brand Marketing Manager to join the George clothing team based in Lutterworth for a minimum of 3 days. Reporting to the Senior Manager Brand Marketing Clothing, the role is responsible for full brand marketing and campaigns across ladieswear, menswear, kids, licence and events. Managing a a team of four and working closely with key stakeholders that include Content Planning Manager, Brand Marketing Team, and the wider Brand Channel Teams.
The brand marketing team purpose is to deliver the brand strategy to the customer and ensure that marketing and creative spends drives great return on investment across both commercial returns and brand equity.
The Brand Marketing Manager – Clothing will be responsible for the delivery of innovative marketing campaigns across all channels and is the gatekeeper of customer experience, putting customer at the heart, and is responsible for ensuring all brand messages are consistent across all marketing channels. You’ll also:
* Hold key relationships across our trading channels and product teams to ensure our brand comms are aligned to deliver growth, market share, and enhanced brand reputation
* Build and nurture relationships across the total business, particularly within the marketing, creative, product, digital, insights and customer experience teams to develop and hold an informed understanding of the business' short, mid- and long-term goals and priorities
* Be responsible for developing and implementing marketing strategies that promote the company’s brand and message
* Create and align the Brand Communication strategy to support and deliver the business strategy, ensuring the team understand the role they play in delivering this and stay focused
* Collaborate with external partners, such as agencies and media outlets, to develop and execute campaigns.
* Translate brand strategy into plans and positioning, incorporating awareness of customer sentiment, market activity and insights to spot risks and opportunities, taking action to address these
* Oversee the development and execution of marketing campaigns across multiple channels
* Lead all clothing projects through from concept to creation, linking strategy, ideation and design
* Own the planning of the brand communication budget, ensuring resources are used to best effect.
* Strategically collaborate with appropriate teams on PR campaigns, influencer partnerships, community programmes and events to drive high levels of brand advocacy and engagement
* Create, prioritise and execute against a clear editorial programme, ensuring the right mix of top, middle and bottom of funnel content
* Continually evaluating and monitoring campaign performance and the impact of all marketing activity to ensure it is both relevant and cost effective, supported by proactive budget and marketing spend management.
* Be responsible for analysing the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and reporting on brand performance to management by tracking key performance indicators and sales data
* You will need to stay up-to-date with the latest marketing trends in fashion and technologies to ensure that our marketing campaigns remain relevant and effective.
About You
You’ll demonstrate your experience in brand marketing from the fashion industry, bringing your brand expertise, campaign management and all round brand marketing experience. We’re looking for a brand marketing professional who has a real flair for creative thinking around brand, company, social, performance and PR. You;ll also demonstrate:
* Strong communication skills: You must be able to effectively communicate the company’s brand message to internal and external stakeholders.
* Marketing expertise: You should have a strong understanding of marketing principles, including market research, segmentation, and targeting.
* Creative thinking: You should be able to think creatively and develop innovative marketing campaigns that resonate with the target audience.
* Analytical skills: You should be able to analyse data and metrics to measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns.
* Project management skills: You should be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
* Leadership skills: Confidently lead a team of direct reports, and cross-functional teams to communicate the company’s vision and goals.
