An opportunity has just become available for a quality driven and experienced Dispensing Optician for a full time, permanent role in the Burton-On-Trent area.
I am recruiting currently for a franchisee of one of the UK’s most trusted optical brands who have an opening due to them strengthening their dispensing team and falling in line with continued growth.
This practice has been through a recent facelift and is situated in a busy shopping area and has strong footfall with a loyal customer base made up of a good mix of private and NHS patients. They have a team of 45-50 which includes a patient focused support team and an organised management structure, who all work for each other to deliver the highest levels of care possible and they have a very good local reputation for excellence in customer care.
Responsibilities of the Dispensing Optician
The role will entail dispensing spectacles to all levels, conducting pre-screen tests and contact lens teaches. You will also be required to carry out frame styling and give patients advice on best options. For candidates with suitable experience can also take on supervisory responsibilities offering support and training where needed.
Requirements of the Qualified Dispensing Optician
As a qualified Dispensing Optician within this practice you will work as one of the primary dispensers on the shop floor. You will be on hand to help junior members of the team with any difficult questions and general trouble shooting. As a member of the stores clinical team you will have a valued input with best practice and clinical compliance.
