Job Description:

Job Title: Addictions Therapist: Entry - Lead Vacancies Available – Brand-New Residential Recovery Service

Salary: £27,000 – £53,000 per annum (Dependent on role, experience & accreditation)

Hours: Full-time (37.5 hours per week - on-site)

Contract Type: Permanent

Qualifications: BACP, BABCP or HCPC Accredited (or working towards for junior roles)

Summary:

Compass Associates are delighted to be partnering with a leading provider of mental health and addiction recovery services as they launch a flagship, therapy-led residential programme in North West London.

This unique and ground-breaking service supports individuals who do not require medical detox but would benefit from immersive, structured, and trauma-informed care. With programmes spanning 14, 28, or 42 days, the service provides support for both substance and behavioural addictions and is built on harm-reduction, non-12-step, person-centred principles.

We are now recruiting across three key therapy roles, offering opportunities for professionals at varying levels of experience - from newly accredited therapists to seasoned clinical leaders.

Your Role at a Glance:

Whether you are starting your therapy career or stepping into service leadership, this is a rare opportunity to contribute to a new model of recovery from the ground up.

* Addictions Therapist & Integrative Therapist & CBT Therapist: Deliver 1:1 and group therapy, support care planning, and work as part of a multi-disciplinary team
* Senior Addictions Therapist: Hold a clinical caseload, supervise junior staff, and lead on complex therapeutic interventions
* Therapy Lead: Shape therapeutic delivery, lead the therapy team, and contribute to operational and clinical development

All roles are based within a highly supportive MDT environment that places ethical, trauma-informed and collaborative care at the forefront of recovery.

Key Responsibilities:

Depending on your level of appointment, responsibilities may include:

* Delivering high-quality, evidence-based 1:1 and group therapy
* Supporting or leading on harm-reduction and non-12-step recovery models
* Providing supervision to junior therapists (for senior roles)
* Collaborating in clinical case reviews and MDT planning
* Taking ownership of service development projects or clinical areas
* Maintaining accurate clinical records and governance standards
* Promoting a trauma-informed, client-led ethos of care

What We’re Looking For:

* BACP, BABCP or HCPC accreditation (or working towards for entry-level roles)
* Experience in addiction, recovery or mental health therapy
* Strong group therapy facilitation skills
* Alignment with trauma-informed, non-judgmental, person-centred approaches
* Proactive, compassionate and team-oriented mindset

Additional for Senior/Lead Roles:

* Previous experience supervising or mentoring therapists
* Strong service development insight and leadership skills
* Confidence managing complex caseloads

Why Join?

* Be part of a flagship, values-driven residential programme redefining addiction care in the UK
* Deliver care your way – therapeutic, ethical, and person-centred
* Clear CPD and progression pathways, with structured support
* 33 days annual leave (including bank holidays)
* Additional birthday leave
