As a Shop Assistant, you will play a vital role in creating a welcoming environment for our customers while ensuring the smooth operation of the shop.
Responsibilities
* Greet customers warmly and assist them with their inquiries
* Maintain an organised and tidy shop environment
* Process transactions accurately and efficiently
* Stock shelves and ensure products are displayed attractively
* Assist in inventory management, including receiving and checking deliveries
* Provide product information and recommendations to customers
* Handle customer complaints or concerns with professionalism and empathy
* Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and enhance customer satisfaction
Requirements
* Previous experience in food retail customer service is beneficial but not essential
* Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment
* Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail
* A friendly and approachable person, with a passion for helping others
* Flexibility to work varied shifts as required by the shop's operational needs
