Audiology Department, Dr. Gray’s Hospital, Elgin
Associate Audiologist - 37 hours per week
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated Associate Audiologist / Hearing Aid Dispenser to work providing Audiology services within the Moray region. The post-holder shall be based in Elgin but will also participate in peripheral clinics throughout the region.
The department has a friendly team of committed clinical staff with a wide range of responsibilities, covering the entirety of Audiological provision for adults and children throughout Moray. Clinical services include adult hearing assessment and rehabilitation; tinnitus and hyperacusis clinics; BAHA, as well as paediatric assessment and rehabilitation.
The successful applicant shall predominantly work with older adults delivering effective care in the assessment and management of hearing loss. The applicant should hold a Clinical Physiology Diploma / Diploma in Hearing Aid Audiology or equivalent. Registration with the HCPC and a full driving licence are considered essential requirements for the post.
This area of Scotland is particularly rich in natural beauty with numerous opportunities for outdoor recreational activities. Aberdeen has excellent transport links to the rest of the UK and beyond.
