We are currently seeking Production Operatives to join a prestigious client based in the HU15 area, working within their non-food manufacturing facility. As a Production Operative, you will play a key role in maintaining the smooth and efficient running of the production lines. You’ll be expected to carry out a variety of tasks in a fast-paced environment, adhering to high standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.
Location:
Brough, HU15 (Own transport is essential due to the location)
Pay Rate:
£12.21 per hour, increasing after 12 weeks of service
Hours:
Continental shift pattern over a 4-week rota:
•Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Saturday & Sunday – 06:00 to 18:00
•Week 2: Wednesday, Thursday & Friday – 06:00 to 18:00
•Week 3: Monday, Tuesday, Saturday & Sunday – 18:00 to 06:00
•Week 4: Wednesday, Thursday & Friday – 18:00 to 06:00
Key Responsibilities:
•Operate production machinery and equipment in accordance with company standards and safety procedures
•Inspect and monitor product quality throughout the production process
•Assemble and pack finished goods in line with order specifications
•Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment
•Assist with the setup and calibration of machinery when required
•Report any faults or maintenance issues to the shift supervisor or maintenance team
•Support colleagues in achieving daily production targets
•Follow all company policies and quality control procedures
•Participate in training sessions and development opportunities to enhance your skills
Key Requirements:
•Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment is preferred, though not essential
•Ability to work in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment
•Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
•Basic understanding of health and safety regulations
•Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
