The Role
As a Financial Planning Administrator, you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the financial planning team. This is a pivotal role requiring a proactive, detail-oriented individual who enjoys working in a structured and client-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities
Administrative Support
* Manage diaries and coordinate appointments for financial planners
* Prepare documentation and materials for meetings
* Handle correspondence, including emails, phone calls, and written communications
* Maintain organised and accurate filing systems
Operational Support
* Support the client onboarding process, including collecting documentation
* Assist in processing client transactions and data updates
* Help prepare reports and materials for client meetings
* Ensure adherence to compliance and regulatory standards
Data Management and Analysis
* Input and maintain client data using financial planning software
* Perform basic analysis and assist in interpreting financial information
Client Service
* Respond to client queries with professionalism and efficiency
* Deliver high-quality service to both clients and internal stakeholders
About You
Essential Skills and Experience
* Minimum of a high school diploma (or equivalent)
* Previous experience in Financial Services
* Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to manage multiple priorities independently and as part of a team
* Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); familiarity with Apple Macs is advantageous
Desirable
* Familiarity with financial planning principles and terminology
* Experience using financial planning software
