Are you an experienced CNC Miller Operator/Setter looking to join a well-established, family-owned engineering business with a strong pipeline of work and a genuinely supportive team culture?
We’re recruiting on behalf of a leading precision manufacturer in Coventry that operates in a modern, clean environment with state-of-the-art CNC machines including Haas, Matsuura, Mazak, and Mitsubishi, all running on Fanuc controls. The Role:
* Work from detailed technical drawings and route cards
* Perform tooling and offset changes, tip changes, and basic program adjustments
* Carry out quality checks using measuring equipment (verniers, micrometers, gauges, etc.)
* Complete production documentation and update shop floor systems
* Support 5S and TPM activities to maintain a clean and safe work area
* Contribute to continuous improvement and collaborate with a friendly team
What We’re Looking For:
* Proven experience setting and operating CNC milling machines
* Confident working with Fanuc controls
* Strong understanding of technical drawings
* Background in a manufacturing or engineering environment
* GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths and English
* Reliable, proactive, and quality-focused attitude
* Overtime available with uplift
* 33 days holiday (inclusive of bank holidays)
* Day shift hours:
o Mon–Thurs: 06:30–14:45
o Friday: 06:30–12:30 (early finish!)
* Stable, family-owned business with a collaborative culture and strong order book
