Our operation in Doncaster is looking for a focused and meticulous Warehouse Shift Supervisor, where you will ensure the safe and efficient running of operations to meet and exceed customer expectations.
This role will see you working Sunday to Thursday, 22:00-06:00.
What are you going to do?
Reporting into the Shift Manager, you will take responsibility for leading and motivating a team of Team Leaders and warehouse colleagues, ensuring that work is allocated fairly and effectively to meet all operational requirements.
You will play a key role in planning ahead, ensuring there is sufficient cover across holidays, sickness, and absences, while also monitoring attendance, punctuality, and absenteeism. You will actively contribute to your colleagues' training and development, fostering their growth and success.
You will build excellent working relationships with both clients and internal customers, focusing on fulfilling customer requirements to the highest standard. You will uphold high housekeeping standards, promote continuous improvement within the warehouse, and ensure all health and safety rules and procedures are followed.
We are looking for an experienced Warehouse Supervisor from a similar logistics environment. You should have demonstrable experience leading, managing, and motivating a team, with some knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems. The role requires working in a fast-paced environment, being reliable and punctual, and having a flexible approach. Excellent communication and customer engagement skills are essential, as there will be regular interaction with the customer.
