A Tier-1 Banking client is seeking a Solution Architect to design and deliver scalable, cloud-first solutions to complex business problems. You’ll work closely with senior stakeholders, shaping technology direction and ensuring solutions balance innovation, risk, and business value.
What you’ll do
* Architect modern, cloud-native solutions using AWS, serverless, and containerisation.
* Create high-quality design artefacts for governance, security, and delivery teams.
* Lead on API design, integration patterns, and solution consistency across platforms.
* Troubleshoot performance issues and support operational teams.
What you’ll bring
* Strong experience architecting distributed systems.
* Hands-on expertise in AWS and solid engineering knowledge with Java, ideally from an engineering background.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder influence skills.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset.
This role is Hybrid with 2 days a week in their office in Knutsford.
