About us
Quarriers Renfrewshire Supported Living Initiative supports adults with physical disabilities, learning disabilities, or acquired brain injuries. We enable them to live at home and participate actively in their local community. We currently deliver 26 individual support packages, so the work is very varied and person‑centred.
What the role involves
1. You will work mostly early or late shifts (for example, 9am‑1pm, 9am‑2pm, 5pm‑9pm, 5pm‑10pm). Occasionally, there will be shifts with early starts (7am) or late finishes (up to 11pm).
2. Flexibility is important: you must be able to work evenings and weekends.
3. As a Support Worker you’ll assist with day‑to‑day living tasks, to include personal care, household routines, supporting access to community activities, helping people to live as independently as possible.
4. You will work with different individuals, each with their own needs and preferences, adapting your support accordingly.
Requirements
5. A full UK driving licence and access to a car are essential for this role.
6. Flexibility to meet changing shift patterns and availability.
7. Commitment to providing high quality, person‑centred care, respecting the individual’s rights, preferences and dignity.
8. Reliable, compassionate, good communication skills and able to work as part of a team.
