We are seeking a highly motivated and professionally experienced part-time Associate Lecturer in Law to contribute to the delivery of our Clinical Legal Education (CLE) portfolio. We are particularly interested in candidates that demonstrate agility through their ability to deliver across modules relating to the Foundations of Legal Knowledge. Working closely with colleagues, students, and our extensive network of law firms, chambers, public bodies, and alumni, the successful candidate will design and deliver authentic, client-focused learning experiences. You will also have opportunity, where appropriate, to support practical legal skills development through the Solent Moot Court, pro bono initiatives, student-employer engagement activities, and other opportunities that strengthen employability and professional formation.
The successful candidate will have a postgraduate degree in Law and ideally a PhD (or be close to completion) or a relevant professional legal qualification with demonstrable experience in Higher Education and/or legal practice. You will be flexible and confident teaching across undergraduate, postgraduate and executive education, and committed to Solent’s applied approach to legal learning. You must also have a teaching qualification at HE, Fellowship of AdvanceHE, or be willing to undertake such qualifications.
