As Recruitment Manager, you’ll lead a passionate team of consultants dedicated to finding and placing top apprentice talent in roles that make a real difference—whether that’s new apprenticeship starts or workforce development opportunities. You’ll be hands-on in developing your team, helping them grow while ensuring they consistently reflect our values in everything they do. Working closely with the Head of Recruitment, you’ll play a key role in shaping and delivering recruitment strategies that align with our wider business goals. You’ll oversee performance, champion our brand, and provide your team with the support, insight, and direction they need to truly connect with our target audience and deliver outstanding results. Role & Responsibilities: To support the Head of Recruitment to create and implement Baltic’s apprentice recruitment & selection strategy To support the Head of Recruitment in the consistent application of our strategy & candidate experience To support the Head of Recruitment in implementing and improving our eligibility processes for learners To ensure that their team is performing against key KPIs so that induction cohorts are maximised across all routeways To ensure continual training and development for all members within their teams with structured CPD to aid performance To attend key meetings with senior stakeholders People Management – To conduct regular 121s to ensure clear directional guidance is given To ensure that your team are utilising our systems as efficiently as possible, suggesting and recommending improvements where necessary. Train and guide recruitment staff, ensuring best practise and compliance Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): Manage and support a team of Recruiters to meet key business objectives (placement / start target, retention, time to fill, conversion rate, P1 Productivity). Maintain a high support rating across teams 1-2-1 documents Essential Skills & Criteria: Ideally 6 months Management experience Experience in using an ATS or HR Database Good attention to detail with the ability to spot improvement areas Strong analytical skills with the ability to review information to make data-based decisions Motivational with the ability to delegate tasks, provide feedback and drive performance Outstanding presentation and communication skills with the ability to engage with other senior members of the business Have a creative and curious approach so that we can effectively implement new strategies and techniques for recruiting Organised with a methodical approach to work and tasks This role description outlines the primary responsibilities of a Recruitment Manager within the organisation.
