The Role:
We are building a bench of freelance video editors to handle both longform and shortform projects on an ad hoc basis. You will cut social-first assets for TikTok, Reels and YouTube Shorts, as well as longer pieces like interviews, performance edits, case films, event recaps, behind-the-scenes and panel content. Projects will range from quick-turn same-day cuts to crafted campaign films.
Who you are:
* A storyteller with 3+ years editing branded or entertainment content.
* Fast, tidy and organised, comfortable working from a tight brief or shaping a cut yourself.
* Plugged into culture and social trends, with a feel for pacing, hooks and retention.
* Collaborative, clear communicator, calm under deadline pressure.
What you'll do:
* Edit shortform social assets in multiple aspect ratios, build variations and versions, add subtitles, captions and simple motion.
* Edit longform pieces such as interviews, mini-docs, podcasts, case studies and event films.
* Cut to music with strong rhythm, select and clear suitable tracks, manage stems when provided.
* Apply basic colour balancing and ISOs clean-up, prep for grade when required.
* Manage tidy project files, proxies and exports, name and deliver assets correctly with thumbnails and metadata.
* Work closely with producers, creatives and social to land the brief and hit deadlines.
Must haves:
* Expert in Adobe Premiere Pro, confident with After Effects for basic GFX and titles.
* Solid audio skills, dialogue clean-up, music editing, mixing to spec.
* Subtitling workflow, 9:16, 1:1, 4:5 and 16:9 delivery, platform best practice.
* Proven track record of fast turnaround while maintaining quality.
* A showreel or links that demonstrate both shortform punch and longer narrative flow.
Bonus points:
* DaVinci Resolve colour experience.
* Motion design beyond basics, template building and toolkits.
* On-set shooting skills, FX3 or similar, and a clean kit list.
* YouTube know-how, thumbnails and titles that drive CTR.
* Experience on brand activations or live events.
Ways of working:
* Ad hoc bookings by day rate or per project.
* Mostly remote with London-based sessions when needed.
* You set your availability, we brief and schedule accordingly.
* NDAs and usage rights aligned to each project.
