Electrically Biased Multi Skilled Engineer (Double Days)
Provide Engineering support to Production to ensure efficient performance on all equipment whilst ensuring that all H&S procedures, and engineering best practice is adhered to at all times.
Hours: Monday to Friday (40 hours) Rotating: Week 1 (0600 - 1400) Week 2 (1400 - 2200) Plus Saturday working on Overtime (time and one half).
Flexible approach to working hours required.
Role Summary:
Provide Engineering support to Production to ensure efficient performance on all equipment whilst ensuring that all H&S procedures, and engineering best practice is adhered to at all times.
Responsibilities:
1. Accurate & timely records are entered and recorded on all work carried out, root causes of failures and of spares/consumables used.
2. Carry out routine maintenance and planned preventative maintenance.
3. Attend and resolve breakdowns in a timely manner.
4. Promote and complete CI work to reduce costs and increase efficiencies.
Required Skills & Experience:
1. Times served apprenticeship or equivalent
2. Recognised Engineering qualification
3. Previous maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
4. Flexible working attitude
5. Competent electrical / fault finding & analysis skills
6. Methodical & strong attention to detail
