Account Manager – Redditch - £28-33k pa - M-T 08.00-16.30 F 08.00-14.30 - Full time, permanent We’re on the lookout for a calm, capable, and customer-obsessed Account Manager to step into a vital role within a fast-paced manufacturing company. You’ll be the trusted go-to for key repeat customers — managing orders, answering emails, and being that reliable presence who always follows through. This is a hands-on, sleeves-rolled-up kind of role that requires maturity, speed, and exceptional attention to detail. This isn't about razzle-dazzle — it’s about being efficient, personable, and brilliant at follow-through. The kind of person who checks their inbox before their coffee. What will my day-to-day responsibilities be in this role? Be the first point of contact for key repeat clients — respond quickly, professionally, and warmly. Handle and acknowledge customer emails swiftly — 80% of the role is email-based. Prepare quotes accurately and send them promptly. Process customer orders with high attention to detail. Liaise with internal teams/production to ensure on-time deliveries and clear communications. Manage pricing, costings, and basic product details using Excel. Support customers with updates, queries, and proactive service. What Skills and Experience do I require for this Account Manager role? Previous experience in an account management or customer-facing office role. Able to respond to customer emails and process orders quickly — think “Inbox Zero” energy. Someone professional, dependable, and easy to work with — no drama, just solid service. Comfortable with spreadsheets, pricing tables, and product info — no need to be a wizard, but excel shouldn’t frighten you. Experience with ERP systems is a bonus (but not a deal-breaker). Clear, professional, and friendly in both written and spoken interactions. A team player with a strong work ethic and a bit of sparkle — someone the client can trust with their “bread and butter” customers. What’s on offer for this Key Account Manager role? A secure and stable role in a friendly, busy team. A business that appreciates reliability and rewards initiative. Competitive salary (£28k–£33k depending on experience). 28 days holiday (including bank holidays). Pension contributions. Real work-life balance: early finish on Fridays and flexibility for family commitments. Interested? If you're the kind of person who thrives on being the safe pair of hands, gets a buzz from clearing your inbox, and genuinely enjoys helping customers — this one’s for you. We’re reviewing CVs now!
