Teaching Assistant

Start date: 3rd November 2025

Part time permanent contract 5 days per week (8.45am-12pm per week)

Grade: TA1, points 2-4 - £9,126.10 - £9,414.66 per annum (£12.26 - £12.65 per hour) TA2 £9,563.58 - £9,715.19 per annum (£12.85 - £13.05 per hour)

Our school Federation is seeking to appoint a suitably qualified Teaching Assistant to work at Hindlip CE First School. This is an exciting opportunity working predominantly in KS2. The role will be part-time on a permanent contract, term time only: 16.25 hours over 5 days per week, made up of five mornings.

The successful candidate will:

* Have experience of supporting children within the primary age range/school setting
* Have experience/interest in working with children with specific and/or complex needs
* Have high expectations for our children’s progress and overall achievement
* Take an imaginative and creative approach to curriculum learning that captures the children’s interest;
* Be flexible, forward thinking, innovative and highly energetic;
* Have an understanding of how children learn, including social/emotional development
* Have a passion for quality teaching and learning, enabling the best outcomes for our children
* Be able to work well as part of our whole school team, school federation and the school community
* Lead teacher planned spelling lessons to groups of children
* Be willing to undertake relevant training
* Support our Christian ethos as a church school
