Due to an internal movement, an opportunity has arisen for a motivated, supportive, and hands-on Senior HSE Advisor to join our team in NSW. This role will be based in Penrith, NSW, however it will cover and require regular travel across our NSW sites. Description This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who’s passionate about health, safety and environment, enjoys working with people, and wants to make a real impact across multiple sites. What You’ll Be Doing Lead and champion HSE activities across our NSW branches. Foster a positive safety culture through coaching, collaboration, and daily engagement with the workforce. Develop, implement and review SOPs, SWMSs, policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with all relevant standards and legislation. Provide expert advice to managers and supervisors on HSE matters and help drive continuous improvement. Manage site WHS and Environmental Management Systems, ensuring alignment across Civilmart- IPA operations. Support and lead incident investigations, ensuring corrective actions are implemented and lessons are shared. Conduct and assist with site inspections and audits, identifying hazards and recommending practical solutions. Promote the sharing of safety learnings, improvements, reports and statistics between branches and states. Participate in Toolbox Talks, safety meetings and Return-to-Work programs as required. What You’ll Bring Relevant qualification in Work Health and Safety (Cert IV or higher desirable). Previous experience in a manufacturing, industrial or construction environment is highly regarded. Excellent communication, teamwork and problem-solving skills. Ability to influence, engage and build trust at all levels of the business. Flexible, proactive, and confident working both independently and within a team. Knowledge of WHS and Environmental auditing and reporting processes (desirable). Why Join Civilmart-IPA?
