Position: Site Assistant (Caretaker/Site Manager) – Band B Point 7‑12, £5,741.41‑£6,218.81 per annum. 8 hours per week, Wednesday 7:00 am–3:30 pm (30 min unpaid lunch break), 52 weeks a year. Start date: 1 April 2026.

Responsibilities
* Key holding and security procedures for emergencies.
* Janitorial duties and general maintenance of the school.
* Support lettings and after‑school activities.
* Maintain and develop maintenance schedules and systems.
* Handle minor repairs, drainage upkeep and heating system monitoring.
* Emergency cleaning and ensuring cleanliness and safety of external areas.
* Coordinate with contractors, handle deliveries and address staff and public enquiries.
* Adhere to health and safety regulations.
* Adapt working hours as required by the school.
* Communicate effectively with contractors and central functions.
Candidate Profile
* Practical with good DIY skills.
* Hands‑on individual who can develop and implement systems and procedures.
* Self‑motivated and works independently.
* Adaptable to varying hours of work.
* Effective communicator with contractors and central functions.
* Able to contribute to projects and maintenance schedules.
