Your Role
As a Project Engineer, you will play a key role within the Engineering Project Management Office, supporting the delivery of engineering projects across their full lifecycle—from early engagement through to production and sustaining activities.
Responsibilities
* Support delivery of engineering projects, ensuring alignment with time, cost, and quality objectives
* Collaborate across multidisciplinary teams to achieve successful project outcomes
* Apply project management methods, governance, and tools to meet contractual and customer requirements
* Manage stakeholders across engineering and non-engineering functions
* Monitor progress, analyse data, and prioritise actions based on business needs
* Support change management and evolving product requirements
* Contribute to contract, funding, and commercial discussions
* Assist in transitioning product development into manufacturing
* Ensure compliance with aircraft certification requirements
* Conduct peer reviews of technical data, reports, and analysis
You may also be required to travel within the UK and internationally (~10%).
What You'll Bring
Essential
* Degree (or equivalent) in Engineering (Mechanical, Aerospace, Manufacturing, Electronic, Materials, or similar)
* Experience in product development, R&D, or production engineering
* Experience with project management methods and tools
* Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
* Ability to analyse data and prioritise effectively
* Strong problem‑solving skills with a practical, hands‑on approach
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Project, PowerPoint, etc.)
* Ability to build effective cross‑functional relationships
Desirable
* Master's degree in a relevant engineering discipline
* Professional registration (IEng/working towards CEng)
* Experience with engineering design tools (e.g. Catia, Nastran)
* Knowledge of aerospace certification and compliance requirements
