Purpose
The Renewal Representative is responsible for managing and retaining recurring revenue across an assigned portfolio of existing Causeway customers. Your success will be measured on protecting existing revenue by ensuring customer satisfaction and renewal (Gross Revenue Retention) You will collaborate closely with teams across the business to ensure customers continue to gain value from our solutions and to unlock new growth from within your assigned customer base.
Key Responsibilities
* Achieve Gross Revenue Retention (GRR) targets by securing timely renewals and mitigating churn risk.
* Manage a portfolio of customer accounts with upcoming renewals, ensuring contracts are renewed on time.
* Proactively engage with customers to confirm satisfaction, identify potential risks, and address any issues that could affect renewal.
* Collaborate with Account Managers, Account Executives, Customer Experience Managers, and Finance to ensure seamless renewal processing.
* Generate and deliver renewal quotes and negotiate contract terms.
* Identify opportunities for upsell and expansion in coordination with the sales and customer experience teams.
* Manage termination and reduction requests via Causeway’s STARR process
* Maintain up-to-date account insights and actions in CRM, ensuring transparency and accountability across all interactions.
* Report on renewal metrics, forecast performance, and contribute to process improvements.
* Produce accurate forecasts for renewals to inform planning and performance tracking.
* Take ownership of your learning and development by engaging with industry insights, internal training, and agentic AI tools.
* Collaborate across business units in line with our CausewayOne platform strategy to deliver joined-up solutions.
Key Skills, Experience and Qualifications
Essential Skills:
* Proven experience in a renewals, sales support, or account management role (preferably in SaaS or technology).
* Strong track record in achieving revenue retention targets.
* Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to handle objections and close renewals effectively.
* Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
* Customer-focused mindset with the ability to build strong relationships.
* Familiarity with CRM and contract management systems.
* Comfortable working with targets and KPIs.
* Ability to work to a personal target, being autonomous, proactive and managing time effectively to maximise effectiveness across your solution group.
* Collaborative mindset with the ability to contribute to team-wide strategies and continuous improvement.
Desirable Skills:
* Relevant built environment industry or digital transformation experience.
* Degree-level, diploma or equivalent education preferred.
* Knowledge of subscription and recurring revenue models.
* Team-oriented, with a collaborative approach to working across departments.
