Contract Data Business Analyst | 6 months | Outside IR35 | £350-£450 per day | Remote
I'm working with a leading analytics consultancy seeking an experienced Contract Business Analyst to support a high-profile engagement with a pharmaceutical end client. This is a fully remote role, offered on an initial 6-month contract with strong potential for extension. The position is outside IR35, with a day rate between £350 and £450, depending on experience.
Responsibilities
* Lead requirements gathering and documentation for data-driven projects
* Translate business needs into actionable data solutions
* Manage project timelines, risks, and deliverables
* Oversee a small team and foster collaboration across departments
* Liaise with technical and non-technical stakeholders to ensure alignment
Essential Skills
* Strong background in data analytics and project management
* Excellent people management and communication skills
* Hands-on experience with tools such as:
o Microsoft Power BI, Oracle Analytics, Tableau, Qlik, SAP Analytics Cloud
o Talend, Informatica, Snowflake
o Microsoft Azure, AWS, Google Cloud
o Vertex, Collibra, Axon, DataRobot, Jupyter, Airflow
Desirable
* Experience in the pharmaceutical sector or regulated industries
* Familiarity with data governance and compliance frameworks
