About the TeamSoundOn is an all-in-one platform powered by TikTok, designed to better service music creators through each step of their career — from TikTok integrated promotion tools to universal music distribution, from diverse monetization opportunities to smart music creation. This role will be based in either our London or Berlin office. TikTok's all-in-one platform for music creators: - Distribute your music globally on TikTok and all major streaming services - Maintain 100% ownership and receive 100% royalties* - Promote your music and reach global audiences. - SoundOn exists to give every music creator & label the power to authentically connect with new audiences and "do music" their way. Responsibilities: - Spearhead distribution operations strategy, work with product and music teams to set up, monitor, and administrate timed music releases in our system - Oversee the catalog onboarding process with new clients for efficient content and metadata ingestion between clients and off-platform partners - Moderate and enforce on and off-platform operational standards to ensure the successful delivery of client releases - Help troubleshoot and proactively identify any issues involved in the distribution process between clients and distribution partners, ensuring all assets are delivered correctly and deadlines are met for clients and vendors - Communicate and respond to inbound requests from clients, digital service platforms and distribution partners - Assess and refine internal workflows and best practices to improve the client and distribution experience.
Minimum Qualification(s) - Familiarity with third-party content management systems and programs including iTunes Connect, Spotify For Artists, and YouTube CMS - Proven experience managing music metadata, DSP deliveries and navigating complex operational setups - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets - Strong problem-solving ability and technical understanding of the music distribution pipeline - Fluent communication in German and Turkish is desirable with the ability to collaborate with local market partners; though strong English proficiency is sufficient. Preferred Qualification(s) - 5 years of experience in an operational or supply chain role at a content or music distribution company - Familiarity with DDEX, XML, and other metadata standards preferred - Excellent communication skills with clients and colleagues
