We are seeking an experienced Director of Valuations to take a key role in shaping and growing a high-performing Manchester-based team. The Role
You will operate as a senior leader within the valuation team, delivering across a diverse portfolio while driving growth and maintaining exceptional standards.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Leading complex valuation instructions across commercial, residential, industrial, and mixed-use assets
* Acting as a trusted advisor to key clients including lenders, developers, and property companies
* Providing strategic oversight and ensuring full compliance with RICS Red Book standards
* Driving business development and identifying new revenue opportunities
* Collaborating with wider business lines including Capital Markets and Agency
* Mentoring and developing junior professionals, building a high-performing team culture
* Delivering clear, insightful valuation reports and presenting advice to clients
* Monitoring market trends and providing informed commentary to clients and stakeholders
* Supporting business planning, team growth, and financial forecasting
About You
You are a commercially minded valuation professional with the credibility and ambition to operate at Director level. You will bring:
* MRICS or FRICS qualification and Registered Valuer status
* Strong experience delivering Red Book Valuations across lending, development, and investment assets
* A proven ability to manage client relationships and win new business
* Excellent report writing and communication skills
* A pragmatic, solutions-focused approach to property challenges
* Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple high-value instructions
Experience with Argus or KEL is advantageous, but not essential.
