We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate GP to join our friendly, patient-centred team.
Responsibilities
* Face to face and telephone consultations.
* Patient Home visits and Nursing Home visits.
* Checking and signing repeat prescriptions.
* Administration - dealing with queries, patient test results, referral letters NHS/private, task, emails and other paperwork and correspondence in a timely manner.
* Cover all the clinical management of the patients in surgery as appropriate including initiating investigations, reviewing results, making referrals to secondary care or to other providers as appropriate.
* Develop care and treatment plans in consultation with patients and in line with current Practice disease management protocols as well wider guidance such as that from NICE.

We are two small, friendly, independent practices, based in the same building, on the same floor, we are highly supportive and understand the importance of a good work/life balance with an open-door ethos. Whilst we are hardworking, we have informal catch‑up coffee meetings, and peer support.
Our whole team across both practices comprises of: Four GP Partners, one salaried GP, five GP Registrars, five Nursing Team members. We have sixteen Support Staff, along with a Practice & Deputy Manager. We have the support of a Practice Pharmacist, via the PCN, who works on site.
