Key Responsibilities
* Support the M&A Partner in leading enquiries and delivering innovative tax solutions.
* Assist with tax due diligence on acquisitions and disposals, working closely with the corporate finance team.
* Advise on pre-transaction structuring, demergers, restructuring, and inheritance tax (IHT) matters.
* Act as a key point of contact for clients, delivering sophisticated M&A tax advice while managing technical risk.
* Ensure high-quality tax reports and documentation, with minimal input from senior leadership.
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
* Have experience in managing complex tax projects and high-value client assignments.
* Possess strong technical knowledge in M&A tax, risk management, and compliance.
* Be confident in building and maintaining client relationships, including high-net-worth individuals.
* Lead, motivate, and coach junior team members, fostering a collaborative and inclusive work environment.
* Proactively identify new business opportunities and contributes to the firm’s growth strategy.
