Job Description
3. Provide field service support across all commercial vehicle products, including diesel, electric and hybrid systems.
4. Diagnose faults and carry out repairs at customer or third‑party sites.
5. Complete major component replacements (transmissions, e‑motors, inverters, etc.).
6. Support new product introductions and deliver technical feedback.
7. Conduct root‑cause analysis and liaise with product specialists and development teams.
8. Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to minimise asset downtime.
9. Maintain accurate paperwork and ensure company vehicle and stock are managed effectively.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Field Service Engineer should have:
10. Level 3 Engineering qualification or Apprenticeship
11. Multi‑skilled mechanical and electrical capability.
12. Background in field service engineering.
13. Experience with electric/hybrid systems (IMI Level 3 preferred).
14. Diesel/electric PSV experience advantageous.
15. Strong diagnostic skills and familiarity with industry diagnostic software.
16. IT skills and a full UK driving licence
