Overview of Role
This is an active waking night shift caring for Benji. You will provide hourly routine care and documentation, including PEG management, medication administration, suctioning, and personal care. Benji will wake throughout the night and requires comfort and reassurance to help him return to sleep. Bespoke training is provided, and you will work alongside a long‑standing member of Benji’s team until you are confident and competent in all aspects of care. Ongoing support and supervision are provided by Benji’s case manager.

About Our Client
Snap Care has recruited for Benji’s care team since he was 18 months old. Benji is now 11 and lives in his fully adapted home in Rotherfield with his parents and two siblings. Benji enjoys gaming, sensory play, story time and long walks. He is diagnosed with quadriplegic cerebral palsy and has complex medical and care needs including PEG feeding, stoma catheter management and airway suctioning. Benji is a full‑time wheelchair user and uses eye‑gaze to support his communication.
Wage / Salary
£18.00 on weekdays | £20.00 on weekends | Gross per hour. Weekend rate applies from midnight Saturday to midnight Monday.
Driver Essential
Access to your own vehicle is required to travel to and from the family home.

Days & Hours
Waking Nights: Monday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday 7:30pm – 7:45am. Full and part‑time contracts available.
