We are seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Biology Teacher to join a secondary school science department. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate educator to inspire students and foster a love of biology and the natural sciences. Beginning September 2025.
Duties as a Biology Teacher:
* Teach Biology across KS3 and KS4, with the possibility of KS5.
* Plan, deliver, and assess engaging lessons that spark curiosity and develop scientific skills.
* Support students in developing analytical, practical, and problem-solving abilities.
* Prepare students for examinations, ensuring they achieve their full potential.
* Contribute to the wider science faculty and take part in extracurricular opportunities such as STEM clubs, fieldwork, or trips.
* Work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance teaching and learning across the department.
Ideal Biology Teacher:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
* Strong subject knowledge in Biology, with a passion for teaching.
* Ability to motivate and inspire students of all abilities.
* Excellent classroom management, organisation, and communication skills as a Biology Teacher.
* Commitment to safeguarding and promoting student wellbeing.
