Welcome & Service Assistant - Berkhamsted Summary As the public face of our properties, you’ll provide a warm, friendly welcome, give information about the property, answer questions and make sure everyone has an enjoyable and memorable visit. Duration: Fixed Term Contract until 25th December 2025 Hours: 15 hours/ 2 days a week. Working every Monday and Saturday. Salary: 12.75 per hour. What it's like to work here Reporting to the Visitor Experience Officer, you'll be part of a team of 4 working at Ashridge Estate welcoming visitors and setting them up for their day. You’ll use your knowledge of Ashridge to engage with our visitors and look to exceed their expectations ensuring that they enjoy their visit with us. You will be aiding in our growing support effort for the National Trust promoting our fundraising and membership causes. You'll also get involved in other presentation tasks on site, ensuring that Ashridge is clean, tidy and presentable. What you'll be doing Day to day, you’ll deliver a great all-round customer service experience. You’ll be on hand answering queries and listen to what our visitors need so you can share the right information. Your role is to make sure our visitors have the best day they can. You’ll have the chance to be involved in different aspects of the visitor experience, from key property events to social media promotion - no two days are the same.
