Secretary - Lisburn Lisburn, County Antrim Negotiable Posted May 14, 2024 Our Public Sector Client currently seeks a Full-Time Temporary ongoingSecretary based in Lisburn This is an ongoing temporary position Hours of work Mon-Fri 9.00am- 5.00pm (37.5hours per week) Rate of pay £11.67 per hour The ideal candidate would need to be highly organised and the use databases would be essential. Duties include: Record and co-ordinate referrals received into and onward referral out of service, ensuring accurate and timely records Ensure clinic capacity is fully utilised to optimum levels through the close monitoring of available clinic slots taking appropriate action where possible. Monitoring waiting times for clinical areas assigned to ensure waiting time targets are achieved; highlighting any areas of slippage. Liaise with clinical staff regarding allocation of appointments and ad hoc clinics, and rebooking clinics/appointments when necessary. Undertake appointment scheduling in line with service requirements. Ensure results of tests, investigations and correspondence received are recorded, vetted by the relevant Clinician and scanned into the appropriate patient's medical notes Essential Criteria: 4 GCSE's Grades A-C to include English Language (or equivalent Qualification) plus 1year's Secretarial /admin /clerical experience. OR NVQ Level 2 in Administration (or equivalent qualification) plus 1 year's secretarial /admin /clerical experience. OR Must have experience as Admin within the NHS RSA/OCR Stage II Text Processing Part I and Part II (or equivalent/ above qualification). OR 1 year's word processing experience, to include typing and formatting of reports and letters.
