About the Role
Muscle Hut Medway Gym is looking for one reliable, hardworking, and enthusiastic Gym Assistant to join our team. The main responsibility of this role is to ensure the gym is kept spotlessly clean, safe, and well-presented at all times. Alongside cleaning, you will also provide support to members with purchases and memberships, helping to create a welcoming and professional environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Take ownership of daily cleaning duties, including sanitising equipment, vacuuming, mopping floors, cleaning mirrors, and maintaining changing rooms, toilets, and communal areas.
* Regularly check and restock cleaning supplies, paper towels, and sanitiser stations.
* Ensure all equipment is clean, tidy, and ready for member use.
* Assist members with purchases such as pre-workout, protein, and merchandise.
* Support members with their gym memberships, including sign-ups, renewals, and general queries.
* Greet and engage with members, offering assistance where needed and contributing to a friendly, positive atmosphere.
* Help keep the gym organised and report any maintenance or safety issues promptly.
