A valued client is currently seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join their finance team as a Credit Controller - ideal for someone who has just completed their finance apprenticeship, as full training will be given.
This is an excellent "next step" opportunity for someone looking to develop their career in credit control, particularly those who are currently completing or have recently completed an administration or finance apprenticeship.
Your new role The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a portfolio of client accounts, building strong relationships with customers, and ensuring timely collection of outstanding debts.
Key responsibilities will include:
* Managing and maintaining a portfolio of client accounts
* Building and nurturing customer relationships to support payment performance
* Conducting weekly aged debt reviews and reporting findings
* Resolving queries efficiently and professionally
* Assisting with implementing payment plans to recover aged/at risk debt
* Working closely with internal teams to support cash flow and credit risk management
Working as part of a close-knit team, you will also be trained in and be expected to cover the purchase ledger / accounts payable duties during annual leave or absence.
What you'll need to succeed This role is ideal for someone who is eager to learn and grow within a supportive environment. The client is open to candidates with limited experience, provided they demonstrate the right attitude and willingness to develop.

* Previous credit control experience is advantageous but not essential
* Ideal for candidates currently completing or recently finished an administration or finance apprenticeship
