An exciting opportunity has become available for an Automotive Vehicle Technician / Vehicle Mechanic within an independent garage located in Wimbledon.
Our Automotive Client has a need for a Vehicle Technician or Vehicle Mechanic who is motivated and able to work to their own initiative.

Competitive basic salary up to £40,000 depending on experience
Opportunity to earn up to £43,000 with overtime

Repairing cylinder heads and gaskets
Replacing complex cambelts and gearboxes
Changing clutches
Undertaking class IV and VII MOT tests in line with DVSA standards if qualified
Servicing vehicles and undertaking general repairs such as brakes and suspension
Handling larger and heavier jobs within the workshop
Managing multiple makes and models from various manufacturersRequirements:
Proven experience working in an independent garage environment
Strong technical skills with a track record of completing repairs efficiently
Competent and confident in diagnosing vehicle issues
Hold current MOT Tester certification or be willing to undertake MOT training
Passionate about delivering high-quality workmanship
Ability to work independently and as part of a teamThe salary of this role is up to £40,000 basic with OTE of £43,000.
