This role will be working across our PKL brand. P KL is the leading commercial catering equipment and Portable Kitchen supplier to both public and private sector clients across the globe. The Role The Materials Management Operative is to work with the Materials Management Team Leader to ensure activities relating to Material Management are carried out in a timely fashion and to the highest standards. You will assist with the correct storage of parts and materials in the department and with the correct administration of all deliveries, of ordered items, into the business. Key Responsibilities: Working in Materials Management you will help maintain correct stock levels of all assets held in Materials Management Ensure that Materials Management, and any space associated with Materials Management, is always kept tidy Receive deliveries of purchase orders, inspect, and report any shortage or defect, to the supplier, within 24 working hours. Report any remedial actions required because of shortages or defects. Inform stake holders their orders have arrived. Carry out goods receipt process on ordering system for all orders New items, if Hire Fleet Equipment, to be checked upon delivery and inform Fleet Department of the equipment arrival Hold goods delivered in an orderly way, in space allocated to Material Management, in PKL Warehouse and space allocated at Beckford Warehouse Be able to identify items being held for projects in allocated space Ensure stakeholders remove their ordered goods in a timely fashion Carry out administrative tasks in line with system requirements for stock issuing Run depot stock reports to re-stock satellite depots, including van stock Carry out perpetual inventory counts on a weekly basis Maintain Supplier records of Insurance documents Maintain, always, a clean, tidy working area Qualifications Essential Skills & Experience As a people-orientated organisation, candidates must demonstrate a strong match for our vibrant entrepreneurial culture and our core values; Listen, Empower, Innovate and Accomplish.
