The Exciting Role
Are you passionate about inclusion, empowerment, and supporting young people with SEND to thrive in work?
We seek a dedicated Job Coach to support young people with SEND in securing and succeeding in work placements and Supported Internships with local employers.
What You Will Be Doing
* Provide tailored coaching and support to young people on Internships or similar pathways.
* Collaborate with employers to identify roles, facilitate workplace adjustments, and promote inclusive practices.
* Use person-centred planning and structured training techniques to build confidence and skills.
* Coordinate with college staff, families, and external agencies to support each learner's success.
What We Are Looking For
We welcome applications from candidates with:
* Experience supporting young people with SEND in education or employment settings.
* Strong communication skills and relationship-building abilities.
* Knowledge of supported employment models and barriers faced by young people with SEND.
* A proactive, adaptable approach and commitment to inclusive education and employment.
