Care Home Unit Manager (NMC Registered Nurse)
£50,000 per annum

About the Role As Care Home Unit Manager, you will support the Home Manager in the day-to-day operational and clinical oversight of the home. Working closely with nurses and carers, you will ensure consistent, high-quality service delivery that meets regulatory requirements and, most importantly, the individual needs of residents.
You will take a hands-on leadership role, championing clinical excellence, strengthening governance, and actively contributing to clinical delivery across the home.
Key Responsibilities
1. Support the Home Manager to develop, implement, and monitor clinical governance policies, NICE guidelines, and procedures in line with NMC and regulatory standards.
2. Lead, support, and mentor nurses and carers, providing coaching and training in up-to-date clinical practices including medication administration, wound care, and resident assessments.
