Casual Business Support Officer (L2 & L3) – casual contract up to 37 hours per week. Hybrid working available. Location: Loxley House NG2 3NG. Salary: £13.26–£13.90 per hour depending on role.

About the Roles
The Office Opps Team has two casual roles and seeks flexible, adaptable people to join a pool of casual Business Support staff. Assignments cover clerical, administrative, data and customer services (call handling) tasks. Roles are council-wide and may require work at any city location. Hybrid working is available in many assignments. Regular full-time hours are available for some roles.
Rates of pay are typically from £13.26 to £13.90 per hour, depending on experience.
Responsibilities
* Provide efficient and effective administrative/business support
* Use a range of office processes, procedures and systems
* Work with MS Office suite and in-house IT systems
* Plan and organise own workload; work flexibly in a pressured environment
* Produce accurate documents and maintain records using IT applications
* Identify and resolve problems, escalating where appropriate
* Communicate clearly with a range of people in various formats
* Provide high-quality customer service and handle conflicts/difficult situations as they arise
Essential Qualifications
* Experience delivering efficient administrative/business support
* Strong working knowledge of office processes and systems
* Extensive experience with MS Office and in-house IT systems
* Proven ability to manage workload flexibly in a fast-paced environment
* Attention to detail and ability to produce quality documents; accurate record-keeping
* Good communication skills (written and verbal) and ability to interact with stakeholders
* Strong customer service orientation
HR Role Essential Requirements (for positions within HR)
* Ability to work on own initiative in a fast-paced environment
* Excellent communication and telephone manner; strong writing skills
* IT skills with Microsoft Office
* Attention to detail and ability to process numerical data
* Highly organised with ability to prioritise work
