Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Practitioner to join our early childhood education team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for young children, supporting their developmental needs through engaging activities and personalised care. Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver age-appropriate activities that promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development
* Supervise children during playtime, mealtimes, and rest periods to ensure their safety and well-being
* Maintain a clean, organised, and welcoming environment in accordance with health and safety regulations
* Support children's individual needs through personalised care plans and behavioural guidance
* Collaborate with colleagues to ensure the smooth daily operation of the nursery
* Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding children's progress, behaviour, and any concerns
* Assist with administrative tasks such as record keeping and updating developmental documentation
* Lead by example in demonstrating professionalism, management skills, and leadership within the team
Skills
* Proven experience working with children in a childcare or nursery setting
* Strong management and leadership abilities to guide team members effectively
* Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
* Knowledge of early childhood education principles and best practices
* Ability to organise activities that stimulate learning and development
* Childcare qualifications recognised within the UK (e.g., Level 3 Early Years Educator) or level 2 are preferred
* Valid driving licence is advantageous for attending external activities
* Compassionate, patient, and nurturing attitude towards young children
* Organised with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities efficiently

Pay: £11.50-£12.52 per hour
